Accessibility
Last updated September 2026
HomeInteli is built to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or reduced-motion settings. Accessibility is treated as part of the product, not an afterthought.
The standard we build to
We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That is the benchmark US courts and the Department of Justice most commonly reference for websites under the Americans with Disabilities Act.
What that means in practice
Specific things you can rely on:
- Keyboard. Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus ring. A "Skip to main content" link is the first stop on every page so you don't have to tab through the navigation each time.
- Screen readers. Pages use real landmarks and heading order. Decorative imagery and the animated hero readout are hidden from assistive technology — every claim they make is also in the page text, so nothing is lost.
- Motion. If your system asks for reduced motion, animation is switched off: the hero video is never fetched, and the moving elements settle into a static state rather than looping.
- Contrast and zoom. Text is intended to meet AA contrast on its background, and layouts reflow rather than break when zoomed or viewed on a small screen.
- Forms. Inputs have associated labels, and errors are described in text rather than by color alone.
Known limitations
We would rather name these than claim perfection. As of the date above:
- Reports contain data-dense charts and a map. The underlying figures are always available as text in the same section, but the visualizations themselves are not fully described.
- The animated readout on the home page is decorative and hidden from assistive technology. Its content is illustrative and is stated in the page copy.
- Some third-party components (payment checkout, embedded map tiles) are outside our direct control and may not fully conform.
- We have not yet completed an independent third-party audit.
Report a barrier
If anything on HomeInteli blocks you, tell us and we will fix it. Email support@homeinteli.com or use the support form. Please include the page and what went wrong. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 5 business days and will tell you our plan and timeline for a fix.
If you need information from a report in a different format, ask us — we will provide the content another way at no additional cost.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is reviewed as part of building new features, and this statement is updated as issues are found and fixed. It is not a one-time exercise, and this page will change as the product does.
